Working on Michelle Chenard's "39 Drops" album (spring 04) And yes that's Roy Truax. As well as being a phenomenally versatile bass player with tremendous facility (he's really good) He's a mad man. Nuff said. "39 DROPS" "INSOMNIA" "CONFLICTED" "MY MAGDALENE" |

Chicago Skinny. The band I left when I left Denver / Boulder. Skinny plays with just as much style as his shoes would suggest, and the guy with the big mouth had the pipes to back up this picture. I never recorded with this band but played with them for over two years, both years being nominated "Best Blues Band" in Denver's Westword Magazine. Big Blues and Big Fun (with some Big Guys!!) |

I played in the host band for the Boulder area Colorado Blues Society jam every tuesday night for 2 years, with the little guy in the next picture. Sammy Dee. This jam is where Erin Lee surfaced and began her efforts with Sammy. These efforts produced an album,,, some cuts from that project that I played on are below. It's Sammy Dee! (& Erin Lee) |

This version of the Sammy Dee band happened
after my time on the east coast. We put this unit together and
rehearsed it just in time for it to implode. So we ended up playing out
a bunch of gigs for the winter and spring of '02 with whichever front
man we could come up with day to day. We never had to cancel a gig and
we had a gas. Kenny (harp) and Kevin (bass) are two of my favorite guys in the world and always look forward to our paths crossing again. |
